OnsiteThis position leads a large team of experienced shipping & receiving associates, receiving inspection and delivery assurance professionals focused on the backend processes for focused execution for the Fire Protection systems business. Establishes short- and long-term objectives with guidelines for managing and monitoring the delivery execution, transportation, and compliance & documentation for incoming / outgoing shipments. Directs scheduling and sequencing of work, as well as data analysis. Reports into the materials group which also manages the stockroom, planning team and 3PL functions.
May be eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do:
Manages and ensures all shipping & receiving, receiving inspection and delivery associates are properly trained and versed in compliance and documentation
Manages all things delivery, i.e. BOLs, freight forwarder relationships, HAZMAT certs and special permits.
Leads cost reduction efforts and process improvements for the site or department to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
Leads materials and logistics problem resolution for the site or department to ensure availability of materials and flow.
Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines.
Be a change agent for material handling initiatives and elevate Logistics performance.
Utilize CORE operating system into daily practice within materials team and partnership with other disciplines.
Establishes performance objectives and leads job performance and productivity.
Includes activities that cannot be attributed to a defined Operations discipline.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Leadership experience required
Manufacturing experience
Experience in Operations functional areas
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:
Knowledge of Collins, Avionics and hRC Quality Management Systems
CPIM certified or ASCM certification
Customer and/or third party audit experience
Planning, procurement, logistic experience
