The Team: Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) provides innovative products and solutions designed to help financial institutions and asset managers effectively measure and manage their counterparty credit risk, market risk, regulatory capital, and derivative valuation adjustments. Utilizing advanced analytics and technology—including a fully vectorized pricing library, Machine Learning, and a scalable Big Data stack—FRA’s solutions are tailored for a diverse range of clients, from tier-one banks to niche firms.
Our offerings can be deployed in the cloud or operated as a service, enabling clients to optimize their internal resources while addressing evolving risk and regulatory requirements. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Financial Risk Analytics team based in New York. This role will focus on driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies tailored to the financial services sector.
The Sales Representative will engage with clients, understand their risk management needs, and provide tailored solutions that address evolving risk and regulatory capital requirements.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Identify and engage potential clients in the financial services sector to promote FRA solutions.
- Understand and analyze client needs regarding counterparty credit risk and market risk.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance engagement and trust.
- Collaborate with various internal groups, including Product Management, Go-to-Market, and Global Account Management, to align on client strategies and initiatives.
- Feed back insights from the market to the product organization to inform product development and enhancements.
- Utilize insights from market trends to identify new sales opportunities and enhance client relationships.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $124,192 to $183,028. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual sales commission plan. incentive plan.

What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of sales experience in financial services, with a focus on market and counterparty credit risk.
- Strong understanding of financial products and risk management solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A strong network within the financial services industry, particularly among buy-side and sell-side firms, is a plus.
- Background in risk management is a plus.
