If this sounds interesting, we’d like to meet you. </p><p></p><p></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p><span>Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.</span></p><p></p><p><span>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a <b>Senior Indirect Procurement Buyer </b>located in <b>Dundalk.</b></span></p><p></p><p>Reporting to the <b><span>Regional Indirect Procurement Manager, </span></b>the <b>Senior Indirect Procurement Buyer </b>will be tasked with <span>coordinating </span><span>activities involved with procuring indirect materials and services; high portion on Facilities and Capex approved spend.</span><span>  </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>What a typical day looks like: </span></b></p><ul><li><p>Using different forms of caring– e-auction, sealed, open care</p></li><li><p>In-direct Procurement of non-standard materials on aQuire basis</p></li><li><p>Ongoing and close participation with cross-functional teams, the global IP team and the Flex GBS team</p></li><li><p>Processing the requests received in the aQuire system within 48 hours, sending out the request for proposal.</p></li><li><p>Compare the offers and select the best one - Cost and Quality.</p></li><li><p>Interpreting contracts, dealing with the legal department representative and cross-functional areas, arranging signatures and ensuring mailing.</p></li><li><p>Managing the recruitment of suppliers</p></li><li><p>Tracking goods from procurement to receipt</p></li><li><p>Overall management of global projects, knowledge of KPI's and drive to meet them</p></li><li><p>Agile participation in English language conference calls, meetings, representing the IP team</p></li><li><p>Constant liaison with suppliers and peers</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of and compliance with the procurement processes defined in the integrated management system</p></li><li><p>Sending out samples, organising transport with the help of transport managers where necessary</p></li><li><p>Requesting and documenting safety data sheets</p></li><li><p>Continuous monitoring, maintenance and updating of minimum stocks (as part of the job)</p></li><li><p>Handling and processing of Titan and AP</p></li><li><p>Preparation and recording of reports</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</span></b></p><ul><li><p>Typically requires a relevant degree and 5 years procurement experience</p></li><li><p>Background in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering would be advantageous</p></li><li><p>Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as ten-key, spreadsheet (PC) and ERP software</p></li><li><p>Ability to read, research and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations</p></li><li><p>Experience in writing reports, business correspondence and procedures and to effectively present information and acknowledges to questions from groups.</p></li><li><p>Experience in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.</p></li><li><p>Ability to apply common sense comprehension to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
