Data Integrity Clerk- HIM, Full-Time, Woodbury

MAJOR FUNCTION:
This position supports the data integrity of Master Patient Index (MPI) business function and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) integration. The position will analyze and maintain the patient single identifier links to demographic, clinical and financial information systems and make any necessary corrections.  In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring that the information exchanged between all INSPIRA HEALTH entities, and the health information exchange (HIE) database is accurate, and corrections are communicated timely.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Some college level education in Information Systems / Computer Science or in relevant clinical or business field OR 2 years equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience in a progressive healthcare environment.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems and electronic Master Patient Index required.
• Experience with patient billing and registration systems preferred.
