You will play a lead role in an agile team, who are responsible for the continual flow of source data through to end-product. You will build the program framework that supports and manages the execution of Data Ops resources and initiatives that are cross functional in nature and assume full accountability for the successful ingestion, transformation and distribution of datasets against business defined KPIs. As Project Manager, you will be ensuring that teams are focused on the right things at the right time with interlocked plans across the various teams and functions. You will develop streamlined project execution processes that provide the required management controls and visibility, supporting cross-functional integrations and their related communication and collaboration protocols.  You will excel in developing, socializing and aligning teams to cross-functional solutions – partnering with peers and leaders from across the organization and typically leading resources outside of direct reporting line/team to execute on the solutions proposed. Solutions will be inclusive of financial benefits planning/tracking, roadmap creation and the transition to steady state operations. You will provide data and insights across the portfolios with respect to status, performance and financial KPIs where appropriate.The role will collaborate closely with internal Data Owner teams and regional Data Operations teams, as well as engage directly with external source data providers to design new processes. You will enjoy designing new processes, achieving buy-in from cross functional stakeholders and documenting and communicating processes to the wider organization.

The role will include continuous improvement and team capability development as a measure of success and drive to deliver improvements across our data lifecycle management. As part of this role, you'll;

  • Ensure that plans are created and executed to enable expected delivery and action
  • Revise plans as appropriate, to meet changing needs/requirements or to initiate corrective action
  • Ensure regular project progress - reporting meetings with project staff, applying an Agile methodology appropriately to enforce project standards
  • Design / re-design processes and maintain process documentation on Confluence

About you?

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems or related discipline
  • You have a minimum of 5+ years of project management experience - managing medium to high complexity projects
  • You will be PMI/IPMA certified
  • You will Demonstrate experience of project delivery in a Technology/Data organization, working under agile methodology frameworks
  • You will demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence team members at all levels across the organization
  • You will demonstrated experience of process design and delivery
  • You have experience using Jira, Workday Projects and Power BI and preferably exposure to GCP
  • You are a Self-starter with strong organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment but remain appropriately detail-oriented
  • You ideally have previous data knowledge and an appreciation in the power of data to drive business decisioning
