JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of General Internal Medicine, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a candidate for an Education Program Specialist to develop, deliver, and evaluate single or small-scale educational programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

• Provide support in the identification, development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of educational programs and related materials 

• Participate in the development of relationships with assigned educational institutions and community groups 

• Participate in the development of methods to assess participant satisfaction and/or progress 

• Prepare and submit various activity reports and assist with monitoring budgets 

• May provide in-service training and teach various educational programs 

• Solicit and evaluate feedback on the effectiveness of various partnership programs and activities 

This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of refunding.
