As a <span><b><u>Global Sourcing Buyer - Preclinical </u></b></span>within our Procurement Team, you'll be i<span>mplementing and monitoring action plans from Category Management and Procurement strategies, collaborating closely with the procurement network and stakeholders.</span> The team is heavily focused on transformation, so there will be lots of opportunities for you to improve processes and implement best-in-class ways of working.</span></p><p></p><h3><b>Main responsibilities</b></h3><p></p><h3><u>Operations Management:</u></h3><ul><li>Ensure the implementation and operational follow-up of action plans derived from the strategies defined by the Category Management and/or Procurement Business Partners, in close collaboration with the procurement network and stakeholders</li><li>Provide support to the Global Lead Buyer of the category to ensure the execution of the strategy and sourcing execution and deliver savings pipeline in line with targets</li><li>Lead global RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for your domain/category and report on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities you are in charge of</li><li>Stay informed on current industry trends and new market developments related to your category area while undertaking benchmarking against other industries and best practices</li><li>Run robust Supplier Management with business reviews &amp; performance management, ensure mastery of Procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality, etc.)</li><li>Work closely with procurement services to leverage as much as possible the middle and back-offices services</li></ul><p></p><h3><u>Stakeholder Management:</u></h3><ul><li>Develop strong partnership with your key internal customers, and foster two-way supportive relationships with them while presenting Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input</li></ul><p></p><h2><b>About you </b></h2><p></p><h3><u>Experience:</u></h3><ul><li>3+ years' experience in Procurement or preclinical or related fields</li><li>Technical knowledge of the category/domain, good understanding of finance and legal aspects</li></ul><p></p><h3><u>Soft skills:</u></h3><ul><li>Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Flexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results oriented</li><li>Transversal/ Project Management</li><li>Very good communication and negotiation skills</li><li>Able to quickly assimilate new information/skills and readily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of working</li><li>Team player with excellent interpersonal sensitivity</li></ul><p></p><h3><u>Education:</u></h3><ul><li>Minimum Bachelor’s degree from accredited University (master degree is preferred)</li></ul><p></p><h3><u>Languages:</u></h3><ul><li>Fluency in English is a must.
