Bayport Warehouse Specialist

Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Shipping and Receiving of goods and materials at Bayport Facility.
Receiving and tracking materials, equipment, rentals, etc.

• Ship and receive goods and materials at Bayport facility

• Stock and organize materials received based on unit (ASU 3&4, COGEN, IWTC, DEMIN, SMR, Capital Projects and TARs)

• Utilize forklift to load and unload trucks at shipping/receiving dock

• Ship/Receive all UPS, Fedex, etc. packages, contact responsible parties when packages arrive onsite in a timely manner

• Assign N-numbers to items and ship to National Warehouse as requested

• Manage Hot shot transportation companies (Create PR, set up shipping for materials/equipment being transported to repair shops)

• Manage all Keep stock items

• Maintain and provide KPI reports as requested

• Maintain all shipping/receiving documentation and logs in Maximo

• Keep warehouse forklift maintenance/inspections up to date

• Keep warehouse clean and organized

• Manage and track onsite spare parts inventory 

• Contact all material requesters of material arrivals in timely manner

• Keep loading dock area/overflow area in parking lot clean and organized

• Track received items and who picked items on PR/PO tracking document in a timely manner

• Receive Items in Oracle that are received in the warehouse on date received

• Remove Outdated cylinders by 12/15 without incident

• List onsite aging inventory and properly distribute following the FIFO (First in First out) process

• Develop and maintain a full listing of warehouse content and quantities and develop storage bin locations

• Seek training and warehousing overview from National Warehousing personnel

• Prepareand issue a quarterly report to management identifying slow moving inventory

• Identify and catalog all unused transformers across the Central Basin

• Identify and catalog contents of compressor building #1 and lead a monthly discussion to determine disposition

• Write work orders in Maximo for repairs to warehouse

• Ensure security of items in warehouse

• Set and post defined shipping and receiving hours

• Manage and report/track all inbound and outbound rental equipment

Are you a MATCH?

• 10 years Industrial Warehouse experience
• Maximo experience a plus (Knowledge with CMMS)
• Proficient with Excel, Google sheets, etc. (Able to build spreadsheets for tracking)
• Able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
