Overview
This position provides assistance with the planning and execution of the Christmas Assistance Program. Assignment dates: November 1-December 20
Responsibilities
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and evenings as needed, hours of operation may vary• Assist with pick up donations from community sites • Organize and sort donated packages• Fill in as needed as a bell ringer• Assist with miscellaneous tasks as assigned including, but not limited to:
o Unload truck deliverieso Sort toyso Label gift bagso Setup and breakdown of toy warehouseo Assist with toy distribution
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail• Good communication skills and team management• Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry• Reliable and able to work well with a team• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• A valid Ohio Driver's License and experience driving a box truck
