Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive maintenance and strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing vehicles. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot vehicle issues, and provide expert recommendations to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

Essential Functions:

• Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and following dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicle systems, including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay up-to-date with rapidly changing technology
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made

 

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license and favorable motor vehicle record
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
• Authorized to work in the United States
