The role will work closely with the department heads and C-level execs to play a pivotal role in growing the company.
Your Title: Manager, Data Engineer
Your Location: Remote/ Anywhere in the US
You Report To: Director, Data Analytics
Your Compensation: $130,000+ plus bonus!
What You’ll Do
- Identify, design, develop, and maintain enterprise data for easy and fast consumption by analytic, BI reporting, and modeling teams
- Create ETL solutions to move data from various data sources ranging from flat files, Excel, Oracle, SQL Server, XML, XSL files, JSON files
- Provide quality assurance of internal and external data by working closely with relevant business units
- Partner with internal security and database teams to ensure proper data governance for end-users and business
- Must be highly skilled at communicating across the organization ranging from development partners to senior management
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of data/reporting/BI development experience for teams such as Risk, Analytics, Reporting, Modeling
- Must have solid understanding of database ETL techniques along with strong database knowledge in transactional and data warehouse scenarios
- Experiences in ETL, Stored Procedures, Scheduling Jobs in the Database
- Highly organized; action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Experience in financial industry is a plus
