Job Summary

This position is a seasonal, event-based role, with a primary duration from April-September. 

Summary:  Responsible for communication between culinary staff and servers, coordinating the flow of food items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and organize incoming food orders to ensure accuracy and priority.
• Communicate clearly with chefs and line cooks to coordinate timing.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients.
• Communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and all special requests are addressed and accommodated.
• Inspect dishes for correct presentation, temperature, and completeness before they leave the kitchen.
• Assist with plating or garnishing when needed.
• Communicate with servers to ensure efficient delivery of food to guests.
• Help resolve issues quickly to maintain service quality.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Performs light cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping, to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintan a clean, organized expo station. 
• Keeps equipment, work area and facilities clean and in order.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
