About the Role
As an APQP Intern at Magna AIM Systems, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning processes. This internship offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in quality management, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic and innovative work environment.
Your Responsibilities
Support APQP Activities:
• Assist in the development and implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure APQP milestones are met.
Documentation and Data Analysis:
• Assist in maintaining accurate documentation related to APQP processes.
• Analyze data to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
Risk Management:
• Participate in the identification and assessment of potential risks in the product development process.
• Contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with various departments, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to gather relevant information for APQP processes.
Continuous Improvement:
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to APQP processes.
• Provide suggestions for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Who we are looking for
• Knowledge of APQP principles and practices.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.
• Previous internship or coursework related to quality assurance or product development.
Your preferred qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.
• Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
