Job Title: Logistics Technician

Department: Logistics

Location: Onsite, 160 Elmgrove park Rochester, NY

Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Days, Monday – Friday

SUMMARY

The Logistics Technician provides logistics & kit production support for clinical trial studies

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble and Pack tubes for clinical trials, sampling instructions and other sampling materials and kits to be dispatched to investigators according to the laboratory protocol and client / project manager instructions.
  • Package completed test kits, required documentation and required ancillary materials.
  • Advise supervisor when supplies fall below required inventory levels in order to avoid delays in study start-up and resupply requirements.
  • Ensure entire process is handled in line with company quality standards and procedures, conduct process quality checks when required.
  • Prepare package for shipping.
  • Arrange for the transportation of kits to investigators via appropriate postal or courier services
  • Arrange for samples to be returned from investigators via appropriate postal or courier services
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Manage relationship with internal ACM departments and courier / postal companies
  • Support other areas of the company if required, as instructed by line manager Understands and follows company policies and procedures, respecting patient confidentiality
  • Performs other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
