Intraoperative Neuromonitoring I Technologist

 This is a paid position, paired with a fully funded CAAHEP training program (accredited through ABRET CNIM Pathway I) beginning September 2025. This is an 8 month Hybrid program which will consist of on-site IUH clinical rotations, virtual instruction through Laboure College of Healthcare and a weekend Bootcamp in Milton, MA in October. Independent computer coursework and classroom exams will be required in addition to clinical skills checks. Upon program completion (April 2026), permanent schedules will be assigned according to departmental needs, most likely 4, 10-hour weekday shifts.   To be considered, you must also apply for Laboure College of Healthcare’s Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Program and have at least 1 of the following: 1.) Bachelor of Science degree or higher, 2.) Associate of Science degree - concentration in a medical field is required, 3.) Graduate of Neurodiagnostic Technology program, holding ABRET credentials (REEGT or REPT credential required. Sleep credentials will be considered), 4.) IONM Work Experience with 5 years preferred. Requires confirmation of employment and submission of resume. 

Performs cases with or without assistance from a senior technologist for basic spine, CEA/TCAR, CN EMG, and Free-run/Triggered EMG. Performs documentation and communication according to department guidelines, simple clerical tasks (reports, billing, create log, etc), and proper patient hook-up of modalities for structures at risk. Meets patient needs, demonstrate willingness to learn new skills, providing accurate and high quality Neurodiagnostic testing. Promotes a cooperative working relationship with each other, physicians, other disciplines, and the public by facilitating and enhancing communication, displaying honesty and respect, displaying sensitivity to cultural differences, and expressing and accepting feedback in a professional manner.

• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Requires registry in CNIM within 24 months of hire.
• Requires ability to meet all requirements of competencies in which Registries are held.
• Requires initiative towards the application of tests and modifies established protocols to fit patient needs.
• Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing.
• Requires strong data acquisition, analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
• Requires ability and tolerance to care for patients of all ages.
• Requires current BLS certification.
