Description

Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks supports is looking to recruit a Bank Staff Nurse to join the team Rehabilitation and recovery (R&R) 26 beds, male and female, 18+ and a BTPs Adults and/or young people across our hospital
Set in a semi-rural location in Hook, Hampshire, Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks supports the NHS by providing low secure services and level 2 rehabilitation services for both male and female patients. This includes a specialist learning disability and autism spectrum support.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
  • Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework. 
  • Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. 
  • Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress. Monitor and review Nursing Care plans

The ideal candidate will hold current NMC registration and have successfully completed a preceptorship programme. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of NMC guidelines, standards, and professional practices, along with clear evidence of continued professional development following registration.
