Manager, Project Controls

The pay for this position ranges from $120,000 - $140,000.

 

 

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Project Controls Manager professional who, through their communication and influential skills, will drive the continued transformation and commercial success of FuelCell Energy

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the project controls plan and associated procedures
• Implement and maintain the project schedule, including resource loading, critical path analysis, and progress monitoring
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare financial forecasts
• Monitor and manage project risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and opportunities
• Ensure accurate and timely project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, cost reports, and risk registers
• Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project objectives are achieved within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with project goals

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Working Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• At least 5 years of experience in project controls in an Engineering/Construction focused environment, with a track record of successful project delivery
• Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting
• Experience in managing a team of project controls professionals preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in project management software and tools, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel
• Strong Financial acumen is a plus
• Certification in Cost Control CCC/CCE or Scheduling (PSP) is a plus

 

Work Environment:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently or occasionally required to:

• Be able and willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hats, respirator, and other PPE as required.
• Travel:  up to 15% domestic or international
• Have or be able to obtain a Passport
