WHO we’re looking for:

We are seeking a Couchbase DevOps/CloudOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Couchbase operations support, AWS cloud administration, networking & security, automation with Ansible, and troubleshooting production issues. This role will require strong problem solving abilities to ensure the efficiency and security of our cloud infrastructure.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide operational support for Couchbase, including managing and maintaining Couchbase clusters on AWS (preferred).
Administer AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and other core services.
Manage networking and security in a cloud environment, including VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, IAM roles, and permissions to ensure secure access and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a high level of analytical skills and minimal supervision.
Automate infrastructure and deployments using Ansible to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and operations, to optimize infrastructure setup and management.
Provide regular status updates to leadership and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
