WHO we’re looking for:


We are seeking a Couchbase DevOps/CloudOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Couchbase operations support, AWS cloud administration, networking & security, automation with Ansible, and troubleshooting production issues. This role will require strong problem solving abilities to ensure the efficiency and security of our cloud infrastructure. 

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational support for Couchbase, including managing and maintaining Couchbase clusters on AWS (preferred).
  • Administer AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and other core services.
  • Manage networking and security in a cloud environment, including VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, IAM roles, and permissions to ensure secure access and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a high level of analytical skills and minimal supervision.
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments using Ansible to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and operations, to optimize infrastructure setup and management.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps, CloudOps, or Cloud Administration role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
