To meet students where they are, we will host internships in both a virtual and in-person format. Opportunities listed will either be in-person based on the location mentioned or virtual, depending on business needs. Some of our internship opportunities that begin in September will continue through the Academic Year and end in April. Job Description
Academic Year/Fall 2023 Internship Program:
- Applications Close: June 9, 2023 at 11:59pm ET. Pro Tip: Submit your application as soon as possible – don't delay!
- Program Dates: September 18, 2023 – December 8, 2023/April 19, 2024
- Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

The below opportunities listed offer an extended internship experience which will span the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters. Working over winter break will not be required.
Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
- Universal Pictures Home Entertainment – Global Finance: improve accuracy and efficiency of monthly forecasting process, creating new financial models and trackers, day-to-day operations – financial consolidation, territory forecasting calls, and submitting corporate financials, and assist in regression refresh
- Controllership: support the Controllership team with monthly and quarterly closing processes, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate data requests
The below opportunities listed will be offered for the Fall semester only.
Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
Global Distribution – International Finance: involved in sales and revenue forecasting, working directly with the sales organization to develop and review revenue budgets in over 100 territories and responsible for creating and maintaining deal analysis/financial models, and provide insight to key trends in the markets.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
- Must be working from a location within the United States during all hours worked.
Desired Characteristics:
- Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Strong analytical/data analysis skills including excellent Excel skills.
- Strong PowerPoint skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications presence/skills which you can effectively deploy in supplier negotiation and partnership discussions.
