Title: Senior Business Analyst

 

Position Description: Provide a range of analytical skills to help drive business projects. Work with technical requirements. Work with a team of professionals to deliver quality advice to developers, taking responsibility for developing and delivering quality work and participating fully to ensure a successful outcome. Partner with key stakeholders to analyze business processes and system needs. Perform fit/gap analysis (system capabilities / business processes / business requirements) and research of in-house, third-party or custom solutions to make objective recommendations for process improvements and IT solutions. Develop presentation materials, including high-level models to validate processes and solutions for stakeholders and internal audiences. Justify recommendations and results with estimated/actual costs and benefits. Draft systems specifications detailing the logic, configuration, and security requirements to be implemented and perform supporting configuration steps. Identify and implement solutions to meet business objectives and support emerging priorities. Work with the Quality Assurance team to test functionality to ensure new products, enhancements, bug fixes and patches have correctly identified problems without introducing regression issues. Lead initial phases of the data migration planning effort. Work with business partners to implements and integrate systems and enhancements to the Cambridge Associates community. Identify change management requirements. Assist in the development of training materials and documentation. Serve as a resource to senior management, product managers, project managers and other business analysts on areas of products and/or business expertise. Stay current on new and existing products functionality and trends by attending industry under group meetings, networking and reading industry magazines.

 

Required Experience/Skills: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field plus three (3) years of related business analysis experience. Will accept a Master’s degree plus one (1) year of relevant business analysis experience. Experience must include:

 

One (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

-        Experience with computer systems, applications, development, and testing methodologies

-        Project Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle

-        Leading project teams with medium to large business initiatives

-        Writing and reviewing test cases

-        Technical writing and presenting

-        Experience interacting with mid- to senior-level managers extracting and analyzing processes and workflows

-        MS-SQL and relational databases
