Part-Time Parts Counter Person

Are you a car enthusiast with a knack for customer service?

Jim Shorkey Auto Group is searching for a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing Parts Department as a part-time Parts Counter Person!

What you'll do:

• Assist customers with locating and purchasing parts for their vehicles
• Utilize our parts software system to efficiently search inventory and place orders
• Maintain a clean and organized parts counter area
• Answer phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
• Process parts returns and exchanges according to company policy

What we offer:

• Competitive hourly wage between $12 and $13 per hour. 
• Flexible part-time schedule (24-30 hours/week, approximately $15-$20K yearly, depending on candidate experience and starting wage). Our typical schedule is:
  • Tuesday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Many days may require extended hours based on workload, with a maximum of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Previous parts experience is preferred, but not required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
• A valid driver's license (preferred)
