Job Description

The Learner Experience Designer will report to the Animal Health Global Learning and Development, Learning Experience Lead. The individual will be responsible for supporting the Learning Experience Lead in the creation, design, and delivery of manufacturing training resources. Responsibilities include leading content creation initiatives, platform lifecycle management, as well as serving as the subject matter expert of learning technology and design. This individual will have the opportunity to advance their knowledge and grow in the Learning and Development field, by supporting innovative and modern learning methods that provide resources reinforcing a multi-generational workforce and evolving business landscape.

Role Responsibilities:

The Learning Experience Designer will support the Animal Health Learning & Development Learner Experience Lead in the execution of the global Learner Experience Strategy for our manufacturing business.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development organization to leverage technology and platforms for enhancing the learner experience, driving engagement, optimizing resources, and improving operational efficiencies.

  • Ensure the integrity and maintenance of existing global learning platforms and content throughout their lifecycle.

  • Assist in the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of innovative learning and capability development solutions that align with our company's Animal Health's strategic initiatives.

  • Create learning content that addresses skill gaps, aligns with business goals, and provides engaging learning experiences.

  • Manage interim and unplanned operational activities and requests, providing appropriate recommendations under the guidance and direction of the Learner Experience Lead.

  • Possess specific skills related to graphic design, eLearning design, video design, and simulations, including knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), proficiency in eLearning design software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360), expertise in video design software (e.g., Vyond, Vimeo, Camtasia), and the ability to create engaging and interactive training simulations.

  • Success in this role relies on prioritizing, planning, and executing multiple tasks while collaborating with Learning Partners

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously without a reduction in accuracy or quality of work

  • Organizational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Analytical and process orientation mindset

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, Power Point, Project, Teams, and SharePoint)

  • Skill in applying approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner, including the ability to build and maintain critical networks and relationships

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Master’s degree preferred

Required:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing learning curriculums (E-Learning, Video Learning, Graphical Design/Simulations) supporting Learning & Development, Manufacturing or Commercial Business operations.
