This role requires maintaining the highest level of confidentiality regarding all District matters, especially those involving the Superintendent, Chief of Staff, and the Board of Education. Ensuring trust and discretion is paramount to the success and integrity of this position. ***This is a one-year position that requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of assistant principal best practices and resources, as well as participating in ongoing professional development and training.

- Support math data teams through providing professional development, conducting observations, working closely with the school admin team and the director of academics to implement effective instructional strategies and assess educational needs.
- Collaborate with the Dean of Culture by developing comprehensive social-emotional learning (SEL) programming and establishing goal setting structures during advisory time.
- Provide targeted instructional feedback to staff, more specifically, math teachers to ensure high quality instruction is provided in all math classrooms and throughout the building.
- Develop plans that improve the quality and adequacy of instruction, and lead to student achievement, growth and development.
- This is a one-year position that requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of assistant principal best practices and resources, as well as participating in ongoing professional development and training.
- Lead high-quality, data driven instruction by building the capacity of teachers to lead and perfect their craft.
- Strategically align people, time and money to drive student achievement.
- Apply teacher and staff performance management systems in a way that ensures a culture of continuous improvement, support, and accountability.
- Actively advocate for members of the school community and effectively engages family and community.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in education or in the subject areas for which you are applying.
- Master’s Degree and Leadership Experience Preferred.
- Hold a valid Colorado Department of Education Principal License (Must be current and active while in the position). Click here for more information.
- 2+ years of school leadership experience.
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
