Position: Field & Event Marketing Coordinator
Overview:
GreenSky is seeking a highly motivated B2B event marketer who is passionate about building brand awareness and executing events. This Field & Event Marketing coordinator will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing the event and activation efforts across the U.S.
This person will need to think strategically, be results-oriented and detail driven. This role works directly with senior marketing and sales leaders to support the GreenSky brand, announcements, PR efforts and most importantly, client retention and growth. This position plays a key role in helping GreenSky build a distinguishable brand that connects with national industry events, Sponsors and Merchants through event marketing, client entertainment, and brand activation efforts.
On the analytics side, you will support team operations and administrative coordination for key marketing initiatives including prospect research and analysis, analytic support and competitive intelligence, digital marketing, events, direct mail, marketing collateral and promotional item development. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced Marketing environment, while developing leadership and marketing management skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and execute compelling events, trips, and local client experiences throughout the US designed to raise brand awareness, launch critical sales initiatives, generate demand and increase customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate and work cross-functionally with multiple teams as it relates to events including brand, creative, media, social, legal & compliance and finance.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations for internal use to pitch event and activation strategies and tactics.
- Write creative briefs and initiate the development of event related creative and communication assets to drive awareness and engagement.
- Liaise with legal for event related contracts.
- Manage event marketing budgets, strategic planning, and expenses.
- Efficiently track, monitor and communicate the effectiveness of events and activations to the company to ensure event ROI and goal attainment.
- Identify prospects (Merchant and Sponsor) including business intelligence reporting on each prospect to a create a sales dossier for sellers to use to shorten the sales cycle.
- Coordinate marketing collateral including presentations for top of funnel sales purposes.
- Assist with driving the return on investment on marketing campaigns regarding transaction volume acquisition.
- Monitor non-GreenSky growth and accomplishments with our top 100 Dealers and top Sponsors.
- With moderate supervision, manage all facets of social media platforms including but not limited to posting, escalating Consumer/Merchant inbound messages and monitoring comments.
- Work with the marketing team to assist in adhoc day-to-day requests/activities (event planning, content writing, campaign analytics, budget tracking, Salesforce list building and address any internal general issues/questions, etc.)
- Monitoring budget line items to enable ROI evaluation.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Proven success overseeing event planning, strategy, and execution.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively, including verbally, in writing and in deck/presentation format (e.g. PowerPoint)
- Ability to present effectively in front of a group.
- Ability to think critically and strategically.
- Solid business aptitude and an ability to assess competitive strategy.
