We are looking for a Business Analyst to work remotely for one of our clients, Digit, which provides corporate digital solutions to help EU Institutions and other bodies run their administrations and decision-making process and implement policies in selected areas.

Context:

DIGIT.A.3 provides corporate digital solutions to help EU Institutions and other bodies run their administration and decision-making process and implement policies in selected areas.

In close collaboration with other services in DIGIT and its customers, DIGIT.A.3 builds and operates solutions in the areas of corporate decision-making, document management, managing personnel selection and human resources, as well as policy implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analysis of Business requirements and capacity to link business requirements and technical
• Documentation of Business and technical requirements.
• Business model analysis.
• Business process analysis.
• Business processes modelling.
• Functional requirements and business cases analysis.
• Risk analysis.
• Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters, and Security Plans.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.), relational databases and SQL.
• Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value.
• Good knowledge of systems integration and API design (RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML data formats).
• Good knowledge of software testing and quality assurance, experience with test case design, manual and
• automated testing, knowledge of testing frameworks like Selenium.
• Good knowledge of large organization administrative business processes.
• Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites.
• Good knowledge of information systems, previous experience and training as a developer being a strong asset.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Rapid self-starting capability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong capacity for preparing and writing business analysis.
• Capability to speak to business and technical audiences.
• Strong capacity to give high-level presentations.
• Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of
• alternative solutions.
• Ability to apply high quality standards.

Due to the nature of a large international organization, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
• Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects.
• Excellent Team Player.
• Ability to understand, speak and write French and English (C1 level for both).
• High degree of discretion and integrity is required.
