Position Summary

The Senior Director of Load Management Solutions leads the creation and execution of the strategic vision for optimizing PG&E’s demand-side portfolio – including demand response and load flexibility initiatives, integration of distributed energy resources (DERs) such as customer-sited solar and storage, and grid-edge resiliency solutions. The core objective of this role is to unlock additional clean energy on the grid while meeting the needs of our hometown communities and putting downward pressure on utility rates. The Senior Director inspires and orchestrates the deployment of load flexibility solutions by leveraging deep understanding of emerging innovations, best practices, and trends across the energy ecosystem. They team with internal and external stakeholders to shape a holistic load management strategy that enables PG&E to decarbonize at the lowest societal cost. This leader also creates a strong safety culture for an incident-free work environment and encourages ownership of co-worker safety in all projects (including R&D initiatives).
