What We Need from You:
• Lead and coach service technicians in the field, offering mentorship and in-field training as needed.
• Deliver the highest level of professionalism, communication, and integrity to our customers.
• Diagnose, repair, and calibrate a variety of light commercial HVAC/R equipment.
• Be available for emergency on-call service, including nights and weekends, to meet customer needs.
• Maintain stock, tools, parts, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Participate in ongoing company-provided training to stay current on the latest technology and service techniques. Qualifications: • Universal EPA certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical work plans.
• In-depth knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills for iPad/cell phone communication and documentation.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to coach and train technicians.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and frequently move heavy objects.
• Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
• Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights of 45 feet or higher.
• Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods.
• Dexterity for tasks such as connecting electrical components and making precise measurements.

  Helios determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $25-40/hour.
