Summary:

The Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Preventative Medicine (VMPM) in the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Iowa State University, located in Ames, Iowa, is seeking an organized and motivated Research Project Manager to join our team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking USDA Sustainable Agricultural Systems grant aimed at advancing the sustainability of dairy goat production in the United States.

About the Role:

As the Research Project Manager, you will play a central role in driving the success of this high-impact initiative. You will provide essential project support, ensuring that the grant's objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Your leadership and organizational skills will be crucial as you:

• Oversee Project Activities: Manage and coordinate the various activities outlined in the grant to ensure smooth progress and compliance with established goals.
• Facilitate Collaboration: Organize team meetings, foster communication among team members, and oversee regular reporting functions to keep all stakeholders aligned.
• Lead Communication Strategy: Design and implement an effective internal and external communication plan, ensuring stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with the project's vision.
