About the role

Summary

The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation division is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Program Management who will manage all graduate and undergraduate medical education programs for the department. The Senior Coordinator, Program Management serves as a critical leader when executing all aspects of running a residency program; including the assessment and resolution of problems and issues, evaluation of physician performance, and management of external relations for education with multiple institutions. Successful candidates will have analytical thinking and problem-solving skills along with industry knowledge. 

Job Duties

• Oversees program changes; developing plans, timelines and documents as part of the updates Develops educational goals for the department and carries out activities to achieve these goals.
• Serves as a liaison to CMS, and ensures that program requirements are met.
• Develops and oversees the Residency/ Fellowship budget.
• Manages all graduate and undergraduate medical education programs for the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Directs annual recruitment activities - Coordinates the trainee recruitment process and on boards new trainees
• Provides administrative support for the program director or other faculty, including maintaining calendars,scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and preparing correspondence.
• Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, exams, seminars, training rotations,electives or special electives, duty/call schedules, ceremonies, or events.
• Responsible for the accuracy of all trainee data entered into PEPT. Residents/Fellows PEPT reconciliation, validation, and update any changes to trainee assignments/funding sources in the PEPT (Professional Effort Planning and Tracking) software.
• Responsible to ensure all trainees follow concur guidelines. 
• Responsible for effort certification for all education related activity
• Provides administrative support for the program director or other faculty, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and preparing correspondence.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four years of GME (Graduate Medical Education) experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
