JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The J.Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School is looking for an experienced individual to join their team as a Software Applications Developer. This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing the technological infrastructure that supports the Fox Graduate School's operations and initiatives.
This position is responsible for the entire lifecycle of software applications, including development, testing, documentation, and ongoing support of enterprise software applications housed within the Graduate School.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include the following:
- Design and develop software code and data structures (SQL) to fulfill functional business requirements.
- Monitor and triage user requests and issues on a monthly rotation.
- Validate and test software code.
- Build ad-hoc data reports from disparate systems.
- Build and maintain UI code for integrated systems, including Salesforce. Design and maintain data integration routines between source systems and Salesforce.
- Write technical and user documentation for Fox Graduate School applications.
- Actively participate and lead in data requirement gathering sessions with users.
Additional responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to build and gather requirements, design solutions across multiple environments and platforms, and authoring maintainable code following best practices.
Education and Experience: The minimum qualifications are an Associate's degree and 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Arrangement: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. This is NOT a 100% remote role.
