As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead engineering projects
• Design and installation of electrical and mechanical systems
• PLC Programming to support maintenance, engineering, and operational projects
• Provide leadership and coaching to maintenance technicians
• Creating a culture of safety and compliance in the production environment through identifying and correcting complex safety issues
• Supporting a culture of continuous improvement by supporting operations engineering with product experiments

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a technical degree/diploma or higher in Robotics, Automation Technology, Industrial Laser Technology, or Engineering
• Three (3) or more years of Industrial Maintenance/Engineering experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Five (5) years of Industrial Maintenance Engineering experience

Work location:

• Ames, IA

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

The starting rate of pay for this position is $41.24 and $44.33/hour.
