The eligible applicant will have the capacity to operate in a few different roles depending on the program needs of the agency at the time. These roles include program management, staff supervision, counseling/psychotherapy and intake/assessment.

Budgeted Salary: $85K per year; Spanish bilingual rate is $90K per year
Licensure Fee Reimbursement:
- New hires will be eligible for District of Columbia licensure reimbursement upon successful completion of their 90-day probationary period.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Clinical Leadership to provide individual and group therapy/counseling services to a caseload of mentally ill and dual disorder adults, supervise as assigned a team of BH CSWs, and take a lead role in the diagnosis and assessment of enrolled consumers.
- Provide intake services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and linkage to agency services for new consumers referred to the agency through the DC Department of Behavioral Health. Reports to the Clinical Director Behavioral Health.
- Provide services to our Out-Patient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program including individual and group counseling, intake, development and implementation of individual treatment and recovery plans (ISP/ITP/IRP); care coordination, and providing and coordinating clinical care services in accordance with VOACC operation as an ASAM Level 1 Outpatient Treatment Provider.
- Participate as part of the SUD clinical team above, will participate in providing AR services to District residents who come to the Hope Center for assessment, referral and intake to SUD services throughout the District.
- Ensure that the client/consumer is at the appropriate level of care
- Responsibility for linking client/consumer as they transition through the levels of care, ensuring that the treatment plan is formulated.
- Provide oversight of linkages to off-site services to meet additional needs related to a co-occurring medical and/or psychiatric condition, as documented in the treatment plan.
- Monitor the compliance with, and effectiveness of, services over the treatment period and make a determination of the frequency of ongoing assessments.
- Provide Crisis intervention services
- Conduct education to include training on HIV to assigned clients
- Assist with providing access to testing and referrals for HIV and infectious diseases and coordination of services with medical care or specialty services related to an infectious disease
- Attend comprehensive treatment team and assessment meetings on each client/consumer as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Scheduling client/consumer for ongoing assessments to ensure continuity of care
- Facilitating implementation of treatment plan and administrative facilitation of the client/consumers service needs, including but not limited to scheduling of appointments, assisting in completing applications, facilitating transportation, tracking appointments, and collecting information about the client/consumers progress.
- Assist the client/consumer in the development of interpersonal and community coping/life skills necessary to remain sober and maintain recovery.
