Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and administration of the Lab document management systems, project file storage, archival and retrieval systems, and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Analytical Services documentation to ensure compliance with documents, laboratory notebooks, raw data, protocols, and reports
- Independently facilitate routing of controlled documents, including formatting, overseeing the review and approval process, tracking, and issuing document numbers
- Manage document retention and destruction
- Consults with end-users to identify problems in accessing electronic content
- Expert knowledge/use of Microsoft Word to review, quality check, and produce deliverables in a consistent, attractive, and timely manner
- Must understand and know how to update styles, work with automated fields (e.g., Quick Parts, tables of contents), format recurring headers and footers, program links, leverage section breaks, etc.
- Proofread the documents for formatting, clarity and correctness working with the technical staff to resolve issues
- Responsible for the collection, issuance, and destruction of personal, instrument and pre-formatted notebooks
- Provide support for all types of audits including regulatory, customer and quality system audits
- As appropriate, take initiatives to improve the effectiveness and/or efficiency of lab processes
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and all safety rules
- Exhibits regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Document Management systems
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry and/or science background preferred
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
- Must have effective problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with MasterControl or other document management system
- Experience with SAP or other financial electronic system
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
- List any safety requirements applicable to role within your country
- Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.

Travel Requirements:
- Minimal travel required
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Ability to lift record box weighing approximately 25lbs
