As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain proficiency with a firearm as part of your daily duties. You will also interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or security-related hazards, reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Follow all company protocols and client-specific instructions while performing armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
