Process Commissioning Superintendent

we are looking for PROCESS COMMISSIONING SUPERINTENDENT for project in CHINA

Role seniority: Senior:       Responsible for developing, safeguarding (within the Group) and share (to colleagues) key technical/professional knowledge.

JOB PURPOSE; To Manage a team of supervisor and commissioning engineers for the commissioning and start-up of new FPSO facilities ensuring that commissioning activities for the assigned areas/units proceed safely, efficiently and to the satisfaction of all parties.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:  

 

-      Ensuring all activities carried out by the contractors are in compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements.

-      Ensuring all works are properly executed in compliance with project specification, QA/QC procedure and standards.

-      Ensuring efficient interface between contractors.

-      Respect of project time targets for commissioning.

-      Manage a team of supervisors assigning tasks and monitoring the execution and progress

KEY ACTIVITIES :

 

-       Applying, in close coordination with the Commissioning Manager, the commissioning strategy to deliver the project task.

-       Interface and coordinate with Construction and MC teams in the identification and resolution of Punches.

-       Coordinate the process commissioning activity among other commissioning discipline for the assigned areas/units.

-       Ensuring that contractors duties are performed by competent and experienced personnel and in sufficient number, granting the work progress monitoring and issuance of the related support documentation.

-       Promptly advising the Commissioning Manager of any areas of concern.

-       Ensure the review of the contractors documentation (eg.: technical reports, specifications, commissioning procedures, drawings, etc).

-                Ensure technical support to Commissioning Manager during the evaluation of any deviations / variations or change order requests issued by contractors.

REPORTS TO: Commissioning Manager

EDUCATION: 

-       Engineering/technical degree (preferred).

-       Technical diploma.

TRAINING AND COURSES:

 

-       Asset Integrity Management System

-       LOTO procedure for process and mechanical isolation

-       HSE Management in upstream operations

-       Hazard Identification

-       Combined Survival & Rescue (BOSIET certification)
