Retail Manager

We are seeking a Retail Manager to oversee the operations and performance of multiple service locations within a designated region in the Retail division. You should be based out of Bartow, FL OR near Sanford, FL or Medley, FL. The Retail Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction, managing the team, and achieving financial and safety goals. This is a leadership role that requires a combination of strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, train, and develop managers and staff to ensure high performance, motivation, and employee retention. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across all locations.
Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations of the branches, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with Safety-Kleen policies, procedures, and regulations. Monitor service quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
Financial Management: Manage the budget and financial performance, including controlling costs, maximizing revenue, and achieving district-specific financial goals. Review and approve financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, resolving any service issues or concerns promptly. Ensure that customer needs are met while identifying new business opportunities within the district.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all locations comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations and company policies. Promote and enforce safety culture and environmental standards across all facilities.
Business Development: Drive growth and new business within the district, collaborating with the sales team to identify opportunities and expand market share. Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to upper management regarding district performance, goals, and challenges. Prepare reports on key metrics, including service levels, financial results, and employee performance.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in the environmental services or industrial sector.
Proven leadership and team-building skills
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Solid financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving revenue growth.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry best practices.
Ability to travel within the district and work flexible hours when necessary.
This position has a heavy administrative responsibility, so organization is key.
