Cascade Bridge, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a bridge construction project in Kelso, WA.

Compensation is per prevailing wage laws. Actual wage rates vary per project specifications. Many projects in the Kelso, WA area have a current wage for Heavy Equipment Operators of $49.83 per hour plus $17.34 in fringe benefits (health insurance and retirement).

Construction Heavy Equipment Operator Job Duties

Operates large construction equipment including but not limited to: loaders, excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, skid-steers, and articulating dump trucks; daily according to schedule and instructions from Foreman and/or Superintendent, choosing and setting up the right equipment accessories (buckets, forks, etc.) to complete each task safely and efficiently.

Load and unload materials onto/from delivery trucks.

Transport materials throughout jobsite as needed in assistance to other crafts.

Maintain equipment and tools, perform periodic inspections of machinery.

Perform incidental work items and duties included with other crafts.

Construction Heavy Equipment Operator Job Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills
• 3+ years of heavy equipment operator experience in construction industry
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using construction tools
• Driver's license

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have reliable transportation
• Ability to work Monday through Friday
• Ability to work overtime as necessary such as extended work days and weekends
• Ability to work outdoors in variety of weather conditions
• Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to travel and relocate as required
