Production Stamping Team Leader

Description

FIC America Corp. is seeking a Production Stamping Team Leader to supervise and coordinate the production, welding, and activities under the direction of the Supervisor

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee activities of production and operating employees under the direction of the Supervisor
• Plan and maintain work schedules, assignments, and production sequences
• Direct and assign tasks and duties under the direction of the Supervisor
• Train and develop team members to perform job duties according to company procedures and policies for safety and accuracy
• Interpret work orders, specifications, and company policies and procedures for employees
• Assist with and perform work activities as necessary to maintain work flow
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations
• Evaluate performance and report them to Supervisors and Managers
• Address reports from employees, and report them to Supervisors and Managers
• Follow standard work instructions

Other Job Functions

• Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures
• Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards
• Perform 5-S activities

• Cooperate with other Team Leaders and Supervisors to coordinate operations and activities
• Create a positive work environment and contribute to the morale of the team
• Demonstrate teamwork
• Use respect, tact, and courtesy in working with others 

Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership experience
• 2 + years of experience within a stamping/press manufacturing operation
• Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with position, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirements
• Must be willing to cross-train
• Must be able to work company’s required overtime
• Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy
