Job Description

Come work with a team of professionals dedicated to excellence at Coffman Engineers. We are seeking a Senior Corrosion Control Engineer with at least five years of experience in our Bozeman office who wants to work and grow as a team player within our multi-discipline firm. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic as well as experience collaborating in a team environment. 

Responsibilities May Include:

• Performing cathodic protection designs for galvanic and impressed current systems for various structures including design basis, drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and engineer cost estimates.
• Performing cathodic protection field testing, troubleshooting, and investigations for various structures.
• Performing indirect inspections including CIS, DCVG, ACVG, and ACCA
• Providing on-site technical oversight and site management during cathodic protection installations.
• Locating pipelines and performing depth of cover surveys
• Preparing technical reports

Qualifications

• NACE CP3 Technologist or NACE CP4 Specialist Certification
• 5+ years cathodic protection field and design experience
• Oil and gas, department of defense (DOD), and water/wastewater cathodic protection experience preferred
• Cathodic protection, protection coatings, material selection, and integrity experience preferred
• Ability to perform domestic and international travel, perform extended field work, and work overtime
• Exceptional organization, technical writing, and communication skills
• Competency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
• Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWIC
