Pediatric and Women’s Services unit cares for general medical/surgical Pediatric patients as well as adult GYN patients. We are committed to providing high quality care in a family centered care atmosphere. Focused on daily Interdisciplinary Rounding to provide great communication between team members and families. Skilled RN staff with 9 patient beds and a 6-week orientation for nurses. Join us in truly making a difference in the lives of our babies and families!

Nursing skills gained on this unit:

  • Pediatric specific trained. 
  • PALS and BLS
  • Breast feeding education.

Qualifications 

  • Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. 
  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse. 
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing       program. 
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. 
  • Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
