WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Dispatcher, you will play a key role as the first line of response in emergent and non-emergent calls. 

• Coordinate the work and activities of EMTs, First Responders, MAV Drivers, and Nurses during emergent and non-emergent transports
• Be courteous and professional to patients, facility employees, co-workers, supervisors and the public at all times
• Receive, prioritize and dispatch calls in computer aided dispatch software (CAD) 
• Intake large volume of calls and determine appropriate level of EMS response required 
• Operate radio communication devices, multi-line telephone system and various computer systems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

• Ability to work overnight Friday, Saturday, Sunday 730p - 730a
• Dispatch experience is preferred but not required
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in high pressure situations
• Clean background check
• Negative drug screening
