Epic Tapestry Principal Trainer

Dew Software is seeking an experienced Epic Tapestry Principal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of clinical and revenue cycle workflows, as well as experience in Epic training methodologies and practices. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs for end-users on the Epic Tapestry platform.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Epic applications is required
• Knowledge of various training methodologies is required for completely satisfactory performance in this job
• A general knowledge of PC hardware, networks and mainframe systems is also required
• Excellent verbal and written communication, excellent customer service, presentation skills, well-organized, electronic messaging, computerized report generation, data entry (typing 30-40 WPM) and word processing skills, detail orientation, has the ability to demonstrate effective organizational and planning skills; utilize logic; demonstrate team-oriented work habits; demonstrate good interpersonal skills; effectively teach varying levels of students; cope with variable training

Requirements

• EPIC System experience: 5 years (Required)
• Tapestry experience: 2 years (Required)
• Epic Tapestry Curriculum Certification
• Epic Access Certification
• Epic Referrals & Authorizations Certification
• Epic Training Environment Build (MST) – TED105 and TED300

• Designs, develops, and delivers Epic training for credentialed trainers, super users, and end users
• Facilitates or co-facilitates customized training, and development programs for all Epic users
• Coordinates dates and times for customized programs according to co-facilitators, departmental and team schedules Collects and evaluates the feedback on program objectives and facilitation and recommends improvements
• Develops quick reference guides, essentials, and tip sheets for trainees Participates in all End User Trainer, Super User, and End User training as available Completes assigned team projects and assignments completely, accurately and on time
• EPIC to document patient information when needed
• Assists in updating training plans, utilizing adult learning principles, to include a variety of education strategies to accommodate a diverse population of learners Maintain computer skills up-to-date by attending continuing education courses
