SUMMARY
The Gross to Net Center of Excellence (GTN CoE) is part of the broader Global Business Services (GBS) and consists of the Chargebacks, Membership, and Medicaid Rebates process areas. The GTN Organization has colleagues in three locations: Memphis, TN, San Jose, Costa Rica and Tampa, FL; each playing a key role in the domestic revenue cycle. GTN CoE processes US wholesaler chargeback submissions, maintains indirect customer master data and validates Medicaid state agencies rebate claims.
The Gross to Net CoE Team Lead will lead the Operational Excellence group, owning critical relationships, tasks, and processes within the organization related to continuous improvement, system maintenance, training and documentation by effectively collaborating with colleagues in various locations of varying positions within Pfizer.
This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, time management, effective results allocation, organizational agility, and the ability to build strong relationships across the end-to-end process.
The ideal candidate for this role would have a well-grounded understanding of Gross to Net processes, specifically Chargebacks and Membership, alongside the different business drivers behind these operational activities and the downstream effects of these activities. Would have demonstrated a desire and ability to train and develop others. As well as being able to coordinate and operationalize complex solutions by being highly self-driven and self-motivated, with an ability to connect with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple groups.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively lead a group of colleagues, including, but not limited to, setting up and assessing goals, providing feedback, and coaching while ensuring opportunities to learn and growth.
- Organize workload of own team by prioritizing key deliverables and proactively following up on outstanding items.
- Function as the liaison between the operational chargebacks and membership group and business partners in Digital. Including the coordination to bring continuous improvement opportunities, coordinate user acceptance tests, lead the definition of operational requirements and approving requests for changes.
- Coordinate quality assurance, documentation and training activities for both, chargebacks, and membership processes. Including controls execution, monitoring of interfaces performance and issue resolution, when needed.
- Provide or coordinate subject matter expertise and guidance to solve complex operational situations, mergers and acquisitions activities, ad hoc reporting, and others.
- Support escalation process by quickly finding common ground and solving issues for the good of all.
- Initiate, develops, and manages formal relationships with key internal colleagues & external customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities – Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Advanced understanding of Model N Flex and Reltio, specifically for Chargebacks, Membership and Indirect Master Data management.
- Good understanding of SAP Customer Master and Pricing interactions with Model N Flex.
- Strong organizational skills required to coordinate with business partners both in and out of the organization.
- Excellent oral, written, and overall communication skills with the ability to conduct meetings and present ideas to groups.
- Change Agile with the ability to easily move from one task to another, juggle multiple tasks at one time and effectively deal with change.
- Strong business acumen and professionalism with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and operations colleagues in all applicable Pfizer Finance and business functional areas.
- Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty.
