Picture this: Brand Marketing has identified the next big idea and it’s time to get the process moving. What do you do? As a Project Manager (Sr Specialist Program Management), you’ll rally experts together from across the organization, including Marketing, Technical Services, R&D, and Legal among others, to put the project in motion and outline the project strategy. During the commercialization journey, you will lead and manage the cross functional team, develop the end-to-end integrated project plan, define project deliverables, identify risks and opportunities while developing risk mitigation plans, and communicate to leadership throughout the life of the project. Strong communication, organization and leadership skills will take you a long way in this role and within our culture at Purina.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leadership and management of Innovation and Renovation (I&R) projects across multiple business units within the North American market
- Manages change in project scope and proactive analysis and communication on impacts (cost, time, & sourcing)
- Prepare and present objective project communications at suitable level dependent on forum
- Establish processes which ensure consistency, execution discipline, and objectivity within Idea-to-Launch (I2L) project management
- Define and reinforce Marketing Operations framework and roles and responsibilities within Idea-to-Launch process
- Ownership of forums and tools required to support Idea-to-Launch projects and processes
- Develop and maintain official project documentation to meet Nestlé Idea-to-Launch system requirements and required status updates
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- 3+ years of professional experience with 2+ years of experience in project/program management, cross-functional leadership roles or business leadership roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing/delivering dashboards utilizing tools such as Power BI and Excel preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
- Knowledge in Digital/Media or New Product Development preferred
- Knowledge in new product development
