The Solution Consultant - Channel role is responsible to meet quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the Sales organization and Channel Partners. As a member of this team, you will add value throughout the sales process in the areas of requirements analysis, solution development, in depth product demonstrations, to transition of professional services. Beyond assisting in the sales process another primary objective is to assist our partners to become self-sufficient. This role will be responsible for providing partner enablement, education, deal strategy, webinars and training to our partner community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and prioritize sales opportunities
Clearly articulate the benefits of NetSuite's applications to all levels including line of business managers and "C" level executives
Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product improvements as needed
Maintain account and opportunity updates within our system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities
Develop, present and deliver value-based demonstrations of the NetSuite solution
Perform needs gather and requirement analysis for new customers
Provide partner enablement, education, webinars and training to partners

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements Needed:
5+ years of Financials experience
5+ years in a comparable pre-sales position supporting the sales cycle in CRM and ERP applications
Must have experience with an ERP application package and thorough understanding of finance and accounting principles
Solid presentation and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of increasing deal size and accelerating the buying process
Successful quota achievement
BS/BA/MBA/CPA or equivalent applicable work experience

Ability to communicate equally well with technology and business owners
Highly collaborative approach with Channel Partners, Sales and Customers

Understanding of product architecture and technology and how it relates to the business problem
Understanding of the sales cycle and customer buying motives and criteria
Ability to perform needs analysis & return on investment analysis highly desired
Ability to participate in response to Requests for Information/Proposals
Ability to motivate self and work independently with little supervision
Ability to work within a team and guide the team when necessary
Travel:
- Position may require travel up to 25%

US: Hiring Range: from $51.25 to $85.67 per hour; from $106,600 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
