In that context and for Germany, </span><span>Grid Solutions is partnering with TenneT, which plans to invest more than $30B by 2030 in deploying new HVDC converter stations to bring Offshore Wind energy into Germany and the Netherlands. </span></p><p><span>In this context, Grid Solutions is looking for a <b>HVDC Project Manager </b>who will oversee large packages part of a portfolio of several mega HVDC projects in Germany (contracts value &gt; $1B) with main focus initially on Scope and Change Management. </span></p><p><span>The HVDC Project Manager will be responsible for her/his </span>project/work package on-time delivery, profit &amp; loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. She/He will provide leadership to strategically manage scope &amp; changes, risks &amp; opportunities, and report technically interface status to the Senior Management. He / She ensures that the project/work package follows high standards in terms of quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.</p><p><span>If you want to be part of a major adventure at the heart of the energy transition in Europe and have a passion to drive large &amp; complex projects with multi-cultural international teams, we want to hear from you!</span></p><p></p><p><b>Major Responsibilities in details:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Manage the close out phase for a large GE work-package of one mega HVDC Project in Germany &gt; 1B$.</b></p></li><li><p>Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive close-out plan, including handover schedules, punch list resolution, warranty cases resolution and final documentation delivery.</p></li><li><p>Ensure completion of outstanding work, testing, commissioning, and performance verification.</p></li><li><p>Act as the primary point of contact between the client, subcontractors, and internal teams during the close-out phase.</p></li><li><p>Liaise with the engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure all scopes are finalized.</p></li><li><p>Support Project Planning: Develops and monitors the Master Time Schedule, manages Project float to ensure timely completion of the Project.</p></li><li><p>Finalize and reconcile outstanding payments, invoices, and claims.</p></li><li><p>Oversee the resolution of variation orders, claims, and counterclaims in coordination with the contract team.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with the contractual entitlements during project closure.</p></li><li><p>Verify that all close-out activities comply with regulatory, contractual, and quality standards.</p></li><li><p>Lead final inspections, audits, and certifications required for project completion.</p></li><li><p>Capture and document lessons learned to improve close-out processes in future projects.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and submit detailed close-out reports for internal and client review.</p></li><li><p>Manage a cross-functional close-out team, ensuring alignment on goals and responsibilities.</p></li><li><p>Deliver on Environmental Health &amp; Safety (‘EHS’), On-Time-Delivery (‘OTD’) and financial objectives (sales, margin, billing, cash) for the GE scope.</p></li><li><p>Support exercise commercial and finance controls during the execution of the project with regular reporting and forecasting of project metrics and KPIs.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the coordination of technical support/engineering, manufacturing/supply and onsite construction resources.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications / Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable (Master / Dipl.).</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 5 years in project management or project execution of large and complex projects (+$100M minimum) as well as professional leadership of international project teams.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing large-scale energy infrastructure projects, and project close-out phase is a plus</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of electrical systems - HVDC technologies is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, as well as planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6).</p></li><li><p>Very good communication skills, strong customer orientation as well as structured working methods and ability to work in a team.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel on business.</p></li><li><p>Fluent in English and German</p></li><li><p>Certification / further training as a Project Manager / PMP is an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Experience in contract &amp; claim management for large and complex
