Due to our continued growth and customer demand, we are hiring a Pricing Specialist to support our Cable and Connectivity Solutions (CCS) business segment, which provides telecommunication equipment to companies around the world. This is an on-site (five-day-a-week) position in Claremont, NC or Shakopee, MN.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
- Partner with the NAR Sales Teams to support the Enterprise market with project pricing and sales support for all Commscope products, mainly the SYSTIMAX, Uniprise, and NETCONNECT brands.
- Review competitive and strategic information from Sales Team and Distributor Partners and develop a pricing strategy for individual projects.
- Analyze profitability for each project to ensure financial metrics are met.
- Create and communicate pricing information with Distributor Business Partners and Sales Team.
- Monitor competitor prices/data and recommend price changes
- Using independent judgment, receive, review, and respond to incoming requests from Business Partners and the Sales team for project pricing in a timely manner and review and approve registrations for project support from Business Partners.
- Manage project discounts as necessary to WIN the project and meet financial targets for profitability, average sell price, and contribution.
- Monitor & modify pricing for all Business Partners (Distributors and VARs) to ensure duplicate discounts are not granted.
- Calculate and analyze profitability for projects using the latest cost and price information.
- Maintain an expert knowledge of pricing and a general understanding of production and technical matters related to pricing. Cross-reference competitor products to CommScope products and offer pricing.
- Audit & monitor incoming Distributor requests for credit against quoted pricing.
- Verify and report on competitive activity, including product offering, pricing, and other pertinent information and answer questions and/or resolve conflicts relating to project pricing.
- Responsible for absolute security of all pricing data, records, and reports, and for the accuracy of input the computer system.
- Provide detailed pricing analyses as requested by the sales and product management teams.
- Partners with the Product Management team to complete special pricing-related duties
- Provide innovative advice on how best to utilize existing computer data for various analysis needs.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Two or more years of business-to-business (B2B) customer service experience.
