DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Monitors process conditions, records operating data and complete all required paperwork
•    Sets up and observes equipment operations and makes required adjustments
•    Produces quality products per customer specifications
•    Performs routine activities for shipping and receiving of finished goods and raw materials
•    Performs BPCS transactions as required
•    Coordinates the flow of materials and products to and from the production areas
•    Performs regular inspections and minor mechanical repairs to equipment as needed, including proper lockout/tagout for minor maintenance repairs
•    Performs housekeeping, snow removal and other yard duties as assigned
•    Maintains process warehouse
EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
•    high school diploma or GED
•    1-3 years industrial and forklift operation experience’ preferably in a chemical manufacturing plant
•    experience with 500 to 2500 batch reactors, condensers, dryers, leaching columns, pumps, process piping and process instru-mentation is helpful

•    able to speak and write in a manner that can easily be understood
•    good numerical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills
•    basic computer literacy
•    powered industrial vehicle certified
•    ability to function as team player
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; talk or hear.
•    The employee must be able to continuously lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
•    Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth percep-tion, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to chemical process area conditions prevalent at the time.
•    Requires outside work and exposure to weather conditions.
•    Must be able to wear a respirator when required.
•    Hearing protection is required during certain process conditions.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
•    reports to the Production Supervisor
•    interacts regularly with laboratory technicians, production employees, members of the leadership team, contractors, consultants, visitors, and employees from other companies that work on the same campus (Allnex)
•    interacts periodically with regulators, inspectors, auditors and city/state/federal officials, as needed
