We have an exciting onsite opportunity for a Mikro Systems Infrastructure Site Services Lead.
What You Will Do:
- Be responsible for all IT Infrastructure components at the site; including desktops, servers, storage, firewalls, etc.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and user support requests, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
- Follow policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure IT operations.
- Plan and execute technology projects to improve operational efficiency and enhance business performance.
- Work closely with other departments/program teams to understand their technology needs and ensure that technology solutions align with business requirements.
- Proactively recommend changes to improve and enhance the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Work with approved vendors (PW/Kyndryl/DXC) to deliver world-class infrastructure services to all employees & contractors at the site.
- Translate customer requirements into a solution design primarily across multiple manufacturing applications and enterprise applications.
- Be a self-starter, able to work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Work with business partners to design specific solutions that meet the needs of the local business.
- Act as an escalation point for any infrastructure issues to 3rd party vendors.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required, such as test and verify all software development work by the local applications team.
- The position requires strong teamwork and communication, and collaboration with site management, outsourced IT partners, customers, security, compliance officials and other members of the DT organization.
- Have a strong desire to continue to learn and remain on the forefront of relevant technologies is essential.
- Site health – Assist in establishing, monitoring, remediating key infrastructure KPIs.
- DT champion / coordinator for local application and DT support of new program equipment and provide infrastructure support of enterprise infrastructure initiatives/deployments.
- Assist Mikro DT Infrastructure Manager to address facility expansion & business transformation requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires an advanced degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with 7 years of project management experience OR in lieu of a degree, 9+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing principles.
- Must work onsite at designated location.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow, or other similar Service Desk tools.
Experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Project Management certifications with a history of delivering IT projects on time and on budget, and the ability to recognize areas for process improvement.
