Job Description

Rapid growth and many strategic initiatives make it a great time to join our Accounts Receivable team! As a full-time A/R Specialist II at our Carson headquarters, you will provide key operational support to our expanding Accounting division, and you will also get the inside view of how a multimillion-dollar company functions day to day. As you work on our Accounts Receivable team, you will rely on your great people and problem-solving skills, superb attention to detail and ability to excel under tight deadlines. A day in the office looks like this: 

• Posting daily payments including checks, wires, and EDI/ACH credit transfers to customer accounts.  
• Processing customer credit card payments
• Performing assigned reconciliations and associated journal entries
• Retrieving and processing bank reports as it relates to deposits
• Processing customer refunds for multiple payment methods
• Participating in special department projects/initiatives as directed
• Providing operational support to multiple internal Accounting teams 
• Ensuring that all internal and external customers receive top-notch service
• Assisting with the migration into Lockbox and SAP

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• 3+ years in an Accounts Receivable department  
• ERP System experience required
• Lockbox experience required
• Strong data entry/10-key skills 
• Knowledge of office practices and clerical/accounting procedures
• Ability to adapt to and work effectively with legacy systems that are integrated with more modern systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook required
• Self-motivation and organization, with a demonstrated ability to proactively manage and prioritize multiple competing projects simultaneously
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Get-it-done mindset and ability to handle high volume of customer payments
• Tip-top customer service and communication skills over the phone and in person
• Ability to thrive in a continuously evolving, fast-pacing setting  
• Excellent organizational skills and strong sense of urgency
• Great accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site at our Carson office

• Hourly: $18 - $25 with an annual bonus of up to 10%
